Jacobite! III ‘The Rebellion’
It is the Spring of 1724, The Clan MacKintosh have been outlawed for their part in the Atterbury Plot. The Clan Chattan’s choice of Lachlan MacKintosh as Chieftain has enraged Lord Robert Dundas, The Judge Advocate of Scotland, and he threatens to outlaw all the clans in the Chattan Confederation. There may be only one choice left…

After a great game of Jacobite II, we wish to continue the story. The Plan is to have perhaps two concurrent weekend events. First, a rerun of Jacobite! I, ‘A Prince is Born’. Followed by the first run of Jacobite! III.
In order to book the venue, we must provisionally book the dates and pay the deposit soon after. Therefore, we are going to open sign ups from today until June 1st, 2022. If we have enough for one or two games, we will then book the venue for either one weekend or two and ask for deposits of £50 to be paid to secure places before June 14th.
Each event will have 32 Players. 10 of these will be ‘laird’ tickets at £230 each, and these will have a double bed in your own room. 22 places will be for ‘Retainers’ and will be in shared rooms on single beds or camp beds for the price of £180. These characters will be middle or lower status. Those who want to play servants will be organized into a household and will work in shifts but will also have plenty of time off for gossiping and eavesdropping. You will get to spend two or three nights at Treowen Manor a beautiful Jacobean mansion in Monmouthshire Wales, UK and will be fully catered with Breakfast lunch and dinner, including a three-course banquet on the Saturday night of each event.
Every player will receive a full brief, detailing character relationships and the history of their clan, and their own path that has led them to the event.
The Provisional dates are the weekends of the 10th and the 17th of March 2023 with the event running from1400hrs with, out of character workshops, and then In Game from 1800hrs on the Friday until the early hours of Sunday. You will also be able to stay from the Thursday Night with no additional cost. (..although food will not be available so we will go to the nearby Pub)
