The convent of Whitwood Abbey, dedicated to the Nurturing Mother (Alma Mater), has stood on this spot for nearly three hundred years. But times are changing…
Alma Mater will take place in a converted church at Chellington, near Bedford, England.
Alma Mater is a larp for 20 participants set in a nunnery on the cusp of the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Players may be of any gender but all characters are female. Alma Mater is a larp about female community, tradition, change, and adherence to and the breaking of rules.
Costume, food and bunkroom accommodation is provided.
It will be run in English.
A standard ticket costs £275. Concessions are available.
Booking will remain open until 5th January.
