Schloss Seehaus, GermanyEight years ago vampires revealed themselves to humanity and quickly became the new superstars, worshipped by millions for their elegance and the promise of something more. Humans beg to become blood donors, everyone wants a bit of their grace. But the rules forbid vampire-human relations or to turn one of them into kin.
Once a year, the vampire houses celebrate the day of their revelation, ‘The Day of Light’, and offer a rare glimpse behind the curtain.
ABOUTThe Taste of Night is set in the present day in a world like ours, only that vampires are real and have risen from myth to become the new heroes, idols, and superstars.
In this LARP, players take on the roles of both vampires — ancient predators, hiding behind elegance and popularity — and humans, caught in a game of fascination and danger, eager to be chosen or desperate to resist.
This is not a romantic fantasy or a game of superpowers. It is a character-driven, plot and story-focused drama about power dynamics, belonging and betrayal, the darkness within, opposites colliding, truths coming to light, and the horrors we choose not to see.
The story unfolds during the annual celebration for The Day of Light, the day Vampires revealed themselves to humanity. Vampires and humans will meet for several days full of music, art, poetry, feasts and a grand ball, while hidden from the spotlight the shadows lurking start to surface.
